Work Based Learning

Work-Based Learning is a program that allows students to combine their classroom learning with authentic work experience through a partnership between the school and local businesses.  Work-Based learning earn a CTAE credit while reporting to work at their assigned workplace each day.  To qualify for the program, students must:

  • Be on track for graduation and classified as either a Junior or Senior and be at least 16 years of age
  • Have a minimum GPA of 75
  • Have an Individual Career Plan on file
  • Have a job placement related to the student's career goal and to at least one course on the student's transcript
  • Have good attendance and discipline records
